About Us

Nine years ago, I started LazyAnalyst.

Not for money. For my passion for the up-and-coming e-commerce world.

At Deloitte Consulting, I had been trapped in working for big banks.

Everyone wanted to be on my team. Finance was where the consulting money was.

But I felt so incredibly bored by finance data 😅. To each their own.

I wanted to play with the cool kids. E-commerce fascinated me. I had even turned down a job offer from Zalando in 2013 when they were a bunch of t-shirt kids interviewing me and writing red numbers 😬.

So I quit Deloitte in 2017.

To get my own projects. To have more fun. To avoid awful, soul-sucking commutes.

To sleep in the mornings and work at night (hello, fellow night owls!).

To be able to work from anywhere (ask me how many countries I’ve worked from).

To apply my own work ethics to client success management and not follow doubtful manager instructions.

Nine years. 30+ projects.

Thank you to my clients, especially the first ones pre-pandemic, who gave me a chance to build my reputation.

Thank you to everyone who believed in me when I started, despite the zero in my bank account (do you know how much rent and commute costs in London…).

Here’s to one year of celebrations towards the big 10 🥳.
