This sales coaching company became data-driven to boost coach performance and client buy-in

As the extended data arm of a sales coaching company, we developed their data collection process from scratch. We had to automate manual sheets from multiple stakeholders with Google Forms. We then created a data model from scratch for their use case, and connected their sales software via Zapier. This new automated process feeds a Google Data Studio suite of dashboards now. It features different reporting for all stakeholders within the company as well as for their clients. We are still expanding reporting every month due to the dashboards’ popularity. The data we centralized is a key part of each and every client meeting this company has.

This smart meter company saves money on data staff

A big smart meter tech company had a bloated and malfunctioning system of getting their daily millions of data rows into their DOMO instance. After great frustrations with several prior data consultants as well as consultant companies, we helped them reduce their storage from 1,5B rows to 240M and found the most viable solution to their high update frequency problem with slow ETL runtime. We continually audit their datasets and flows and create new optimized data ETLs and dashboards. We also manage a couple of their external backend developer team members. We added new custom API connections to DOMO as well as manage their BigQuery database and connection. On top of those responsibilities, we also set up their process documentation completely from scratch. One of our team’s biggest wins for this client was a swift halt of a Google Cloud Project hack attack. Our team has since taken over the administration of their GCP with an audit and implementation of best practice security measures.

Shopify reporting is a pain for any e-commerce company. We got this fashion brand’s data out of Shopify and into the Domo reporting tool. Having all the raw data outside of Shopify enabled us to write reports that are not possible on Shopify’s frontend. Getting the sales numbers to match Shopify’s existing reporting requires advanced ETL skills that we bring to the table. Shopify’s API presents many pitfalls. You need experienced data engineers for this job. Whenever the CFO needs new reporting, we jump in within 24h and extend our original setup.
